Our trip to Aschaffenburg will be for sure an experience that we will never forget. It was my first trip outside of Greece so I had great expectations, but I wasn't disappointed! The school and the teachers but above all the students were very organized and never failed to amaze us with their awesome work! Also, something that was a surprise to me was the hospitality of the host family and everyone in general !!! I will definitely visit Germany again but not in Winter because the temperatures are way too low for Greek people!!! Hello! The trip to Germany was an amazing experience I'll always remember. We hugged a last time - it was very hard to say goodbye after a week we all had enjoyed so much… It got very emotional when the different student groups sang national birthday songs in their native languages.īut finally, it was time for us to clean up and go home, because most of the foreign students had to leave very early the next morning. We counted down the last seconds to midnight and raised our glasses. On Sunday Anna-Lena, one of the German students, turned 18. These games provided loads of laughs!Ī few minutes before midnight all students gathered in the dancing room. To liven up the party we also played some funny party games such as “musical chairs”. On a huge poster with the Erasmus logo “Food for thought” in the middle and the four different flags on it the students could write down their names and their impressions of the week. Some great works of art were created.įurthermore, you could dress up with fancy accessories and take some Polaroid pictures of yourself and your exchange partner or other new friends - a great success! We had a lot of fun while taking these pictures. Here you could dance to popular music.Īfter getting tired of dancing it was time to create some souvenirs of the week in Germany:Įvery student had the possibility to decorate her or his own gingerbread heart with food colouring. You could choose from salads, cakes, nut corners and much more.Īnother room was decorated as a disco-room. The German students had prepared several kinds of finger food. Of course, there was a great variety of food and drinks.

One had several options of how to spend this evening: In the evening, we met a last time at Maria-Ward School to celebrate a farewell party with all the people participating in the Erasmus+ programme.Īt first the teachers of the different nations gave some speeches praising the organisation and the activities of the week and then the party could finally start… So it was time to say goodbye to our exchange partners. Saturday 28 th was the last day of our meeting in Germany.
